We are excited to introduce you to Dr. Jaswant Guzder, a storyteller at India’s First International Narrative Therapy Conference; A Room Full of Stories (13-18th October 2016).Jaswant-Guzder

Dr Jaswant Guzder is a professor at, Mcgill University Department of Psychiatry and works at the Jewish General Hospital where she is Head of Child Psychiatry,  Director of Childhood Disorders Day Hospital, Senior Consultant and founding co-director of cultural consultation Service and Director of Fellowship Program in Family Therapy. Her research work has been on ethology of borderline personality in childhood, family alliance, cultural psychiatry and global health projects, currently finishing a project with Grand Challenges Canada in Jamaica. She is active in clinical, work teaching, research and has co-edited a recent book Cultural Consultation: Encountering the Other in Mental Health Care.

We are looking forward to exploring  Dr. Jaswant Guzders’ work and ideas surrounding Transcultural Psychiatry!
