Riddhi is a Developmental Pediatrician at Ummeed Child Development Centre, Mumbai, a not for profit organization that supports children with various developmental difficulties. After graduating from Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital, she completed her Pediatric residency at Sir H.N. Hospital and Research Centre. Along with doing developmental assessments for children, she also worked as a Research Assistant on an international project aimed at developing a tool for monitoring development of children 0-3 years in low and middle income countries (International Guide for Monitoring Child Development).

Working at Ummeed for over 5 years, it wasn’t long before she succumbed to her curiosity about Narrative Therapy, of which she had heard so much from her colleagues.  Having completed the year long Mental Health Training Program at Ummeed last year, she is currently trying to incorporate narrative ideas into her practice as a developmental pediatrician , hoping to make her work more centered towards the hopes of the child and  family.
